A New Mother
One year ago, Bailey Jenkins’ boyfriend surprised her with an engagement announcement at the company holiday party. Now, he’s in jail for assault and Bailey, six months pregnant, has a new home and a new job, and a glimmer of hope for a new beginning.
A Former Fighter
Between coping with his father’s illness and fighting off the unwelcome attention of an obsessed ex-girlfriend, Colin Carmichael needs a break. After his beloved father passes away, Colin retreats from the public eye and joins his long-lost brother in Atlanta, hoping for a fresh start as the owner of an MMA training facility.
Two New Beginnings. To New Beginnings.
Bailey knows the last thing she needs is another complication in her newly settled life, especially one that makes a living with his fists, but she can’t ignore her growing attraction to the surprisingly sensitive heavyweight champion. Colin realizes that between her pregnancy and her felonious ex, getting involved with Bailey might possibly be the worst decision he’s ever made, but resisting his little curly-haired neighbor is proving difficult. When a problem from each of their pasts comes to Atlanta, Colin and Bailey must fight for the sweet relief that their fledgling relationship promises to give them.
Please note This novel was previously published as "Sweet Relief", the third book of the Second Chance Neighbors series.

If you're a fan of sweet, contemporary romance with sizzle, then this book is for you. I really enjoyed the heroine, Bailey. She was relatable and down-to-earth. Colin's shy demeanor was sexy, and his naiveté made me smile more than once. The writing is thorough, the plot is engaging, and I enjoyed the added mix of conflict throughout the story. It wasn't one of those books where I knew what would happen next, and I appreciated that. What really made me love this book, however, was the interaction between all of the characters. Josie has a way of making you feel emotionally invested in her characters; they are real people, with real problems. And I can't wait to see where their lives are headed in the other books. 5 stars!Product details

Fighter DS Fight Club Book 1 edition by Josie Kerr Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Enjoyed reading this book and reading about the characters and their story. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
I really thought this was a great story. I enjoyed the humor, the way the friends were so close. They all had each others backs. It was a good read I would recommended this book.
Great read! Don't need all the extra questions about sexual content because what one person finds offensive others do not!
I really liked this book...Babydoll and C C are great!! Fartknocker?! Great story and great language...if you havent read this book..DO IT NOW!!!
This was a great read. Endearing, crazy, and funny. This love story of Bailey and Colin was just perfect. This HEA it all area's that can be touched.
Wow, 3 stars is being generous here due to the glaring mistakes in this book, I almost stopped reading, the mistakes were so distracting. The flow was very choppy. Stop & go around the errors didn't help. There's a good story here beneath the problems, that's the only reason I even finished the book. But the editors/beta readers failed horribly on this. I think even the "Microsoft Word" program would have caught a bunch of the extra words -sort of mistakes. Between extra words or misplaced words in sentences thru out the whole book, typo errors, to gaps in the story, story jumping around missing info, to mixed up things the author should have researched more (with Google, there's no excuse for not checking facts). Example- a person with a wired shut jaw cannot communicate verbally very well, or as smoothly as Colin was anyway, mumbles are the norm for trying to talk without moving the jaw (you try talking with your jaw clamped shut, enunciation is reduced drastically) unless he's a talented ventriloquist. Also jaws are normally only wired shut for breaks & for approximately 4-6 weeks. From what I was reading in this book, it sounded like 3-4 months. Also, the injuries mentioned at the time of the fight in the ring don't match what he comes out of the hospital with (author/editor/beta reader fail!). In the ring from the description given, he has a broken nose, a dislocated shoulder, possibly a broken arm. Nothing mentioned about broken jaw. When he comes home from the hospital, his jaw is wired shut (but not why it is since it wasn't mentioned in the fight, so I was a bit confused over this), broken nose, & a broken arm. So instead of shoulder, it's his jaw? Shoulder dislocations are serious with possible surgery & up to 12 weeks of immobility for a chance at recovery. It would have made more sense in the story than the jaw being wired shut. There were other things besides the ones I mention, but these were the most glaring. It's disappointing to see a good story ruined in this way.
I enjoyed this book so much. It had so much feeling and I felt I was on this journey with them the entire book. This book pulled me in and would not let go until the end.
