I just recently discovered Cara McKenna and I am hooked! She can take the most fragile, complex and seemingly unworthy characters and make you fall in love with them. I love the Desert Dogs and surprising to me that i think Duncan Welch might be line of my favorite book boyfriends. I get so invested - it makes me melancholy when I flip the last page. The Desert Dogs are stories I know I will read more than once. Yes, its that good!!

The romance was not as strong as the first in the series, but still worth a read.
Very entertaining and powerfully sexy!
This author has the goods and this is another tightly drawn cast of characters with just enough drama. Well done.
Love, love, love this author. Her writing is griping and dirty and compelling...I've read everything she's written (some more than once!) Superb!!
I love Cara McKenna books. My biggest complaint is almost always that I finish them and want MORE - a longer book or a sequel. So I was thrilled that she is writing this series because I loved the first Desert Dogs book almost as much as I loved my three favorite Cara McKenna books After Hours, Unbound and Hard Time (seriously, if you haven't read those three books, READ THEM!)

I liked the story here, but I didn't like the constant navel gazing (or introspection). A little contemplation I could stand, but both Duncan and Raina spent inordinate amounts of time reflecting on their backgrounds and their feelings and insecurities. I get it already. Enough.

I loved the verbal wit Duncan expresses in his interactions with most every character; he's brilliant. I would have liked more Vince and Kim, but I understand that this book is not their story.

It's a good book and I will gladly buy the next installment in the series, but this one was a book that I kept putting down - unlike other Cara McKenna books that I avidly read from cover to cover and then re-read (several time, in fact).
Cara McKenna is golden, and so is everything she writes. Give It All was no different--complex characters, steamy romance, and, I say again, characters that stay with you.

Duncan's inner workings had me sneak-reading at work. Raina is a very different sort of heroine. Buy it--but read the first one first.
I stayed up until late to finish this because I can't put it down. In the first book I wanted Raina/Miah to be the endgame but I can't deny that Raina and Duncan had something between them, and I'm so glad that gets explored in the second book. Raina's awesome, that's for sure, but Duncan! Wow Duncan is really not what I expected. I just love their banter and how they are just right for each other.
